Vilagrad 40 Year Old Tawny Port Limited Edition

This limited edition was bottled in the original port bottles with the original label design, which are individually numbered and hand wax sealed in burnt wooden boxes only 200 are available.

This 40-year-old Tawny Port offers a rare taste of Vilagrad's History. It was grown and produced in the Waikato by my father, Pieter Nooyen in 1985.

Fortunately, the barrels were relocated into the new cellar one year before the devastating fire that destroyed the Vilagrad barrel room in 2015.

This fortified wine has developed nutty almond and sultana aromas with toffee apple and salted caramel flavours.
